El famoso rapero Ice Cube, ha lanzado a la venta su último LP el pasado día 28 de septiembre de 2010. El disco titulado "I am the West" ( "Soy el oeste"), vendió en su primera semana la cantidad de 22.000 copias y hasta el 10 de octubre sobe unas 31.000. El primer single del disco recibe el mbre de " I Rep the West" ( "Represento al oeste"). También están otro nos como " Drink ya Kool - Aid" ("Bébete tu Kool-Aid") y " She couldn't make it on her own" ( " Ella no pudo hacerlo a su modo"). Como siempre, Ice Cube trata temas de la vida en los barrios pobres, del amor a su ciudad y de problemas políticos entre otros. El estilo es muy simple y sencillo, llegando a vulgar.
